Before the redesign, the Homework House page looked pretty plain, was hard to update, and didn’t really reflect the personality of the organization.
Neighborhood Homework House came to us with a need for a new website that could serve as an information source for donors, volunteers, and students. We wanted to build them a site that was fun and playful, but also showed off their business side.
We came up with the idea to do the whole website in crayon. Having not played with crayons for several years, we had all forgotten just how much fun it is to get down and dirty with crayons.
