CrossConnector is Here!

April 4th, 2006

It’s here!

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve launched CrossConnector!

CrossConnector is the easiest way to manage your ministry and publish it online at the same time. It’s perfect for missionaries, churches, and mission agencies.

CrossConnector helps you get your mission work organized. You can plan and manage mission trips, church activities, ministry events, and more. It works like a blog, so you’ll get your own website where people can read your messages and check out your projects. You can coordinate with churches and missionaries, send messages to supporters (or anyone), post messages like a blog and invite people to leave comments, research and search past and current mission work, and lots more!

Try CrossConnector today for free! It takes less than a minute to sign up – just go to www.crossconnector.com and click the enormous green button.

What is CrossConnector?

Basically, it’s functional blogging for ministries and missions.

So what does it do?

  • Keep all your stuff in one place
How handy would it be to have one place where people could go to see all your church or agency’s mission activity? That’s what you get with CrossConnector.
  • Plan Projects
Plan mission trips, small groups, church events, and more. Use events to track things that happen on a schedule.
  • Post Messages
Post and send mission trip updates, prayer requests, journal entries, stories, letters home, and whatever! People can comment on your messages, which is a great way to communicate with people while they’re out on the field.
  • Upload Files
Upload pictures, forms, word documents, PDF files, and most other kinds of files.
  • Teams and Leaders
Let leaders have access to post messages and upload files, and then organize your people into groups and teams.

This is incredible. Nice work. The only problem with a new app like this is getting people to use it. Once my crew sees and uses it for awhile, I'm certain the will love it.

Thanks Matt! I know - it's hard to get the word out when you're just getting started. But we've had a whole lot of people sign up in the past couple of days, so that's been encouraging! I'm really hoping for some good word-of-mouth as CrossConnector matures. We're also planning to go to some missions conferences this year to do some promoting, and I have a couple of other plans up my sleeve. :)

The Crossconnector site looks gorgeous. Maybe an oversight, but there is currently no way for people without javascript enabled to give you money :/ Not sure if this is the proper venue for this type of feedback... feel free to delete this comment.

Andrew - thanks for pointing that out! That's a pretty major oversight. I've changed the signup button so that it should now work even if you have JavaScript turned off.
