If you manage email campaigns for your clients, you should take a look at CampaignMonitor. (I’m not getting paid to say this; I’m just a satisfied customer.)

Maintaining a e-mailing list can be a lot of work, especially for a small company like us. That’s why I’ve been so happy with CampaignMonitor. They pretty much take care of everything for me – subscribe and unsubscribe requests, making sure the list is up to date and has good email addresses, and giving me great reports about my mailings.

Why this plug for CampaignMonitor? Because they have great customer service. A customer of mine subscribed to my list the other day, but their email address was too short (like w@xyx.com). CampaignMonitor rejected the email short address, but fortunately my tenacious customer let me know, and I immediately zoomed an email to CampaignMonitor’s support alerting them to the problem.

Their response? “Thanks for letting us know about this problem, we’ve just updated our validation to allow for these email addresses and we’ll be publishing this update in about 12 hours.”

Man, that’s cool. That’s one of the the obvious advantages of being small – you can be agile and publish a fix to your product within hours. Thanks, CampaignMonitor.

Hey Ryan, Thanks so much for the kind words about Campaign Monitor. Stay tuned, we've got some cool new features rolling out in the next few weeks. The update we promised has been pushed live and you can jump in and add that new subscriber now. It was a close one, but we scraped in within the 12 hours ;)
